Doc's surgeries have been featured on virtually every major record & label, entering various top 10 charts in US, Europe and Asia, peaking at No. 2 on Billboard. Hailing from Bohemia he immigrated to Canada in 1990 where he started the music label, publishing and recording studios, Octavo Productions. Colin Oberst (aka The Professor) is an accomplished composer, songwriter and performer. With over 100 original compositions under his belt and various songwriting wins, his latest gem and major achievement is composing the new Hockey Night In Canada Anthem for CBC Television Canada. His song "Canadian Gold" has beaten 15000 other entries in the CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada Anthem Challange" competition. Produced by the one and only Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue, Tragically Hip) , Canadian Gold (as of OCtober 11, 2008), has become the new official anthem for the 2008-2009 NHL season and for generations to come.
